We worked with Scott Arthur over a year ago for our kitchen, bar, and family room cabinets. In the end, they not only provided an extremely high-quality product but when we had questions or wanted to be apart of the process they were easy to get ahold of, always returned our calls, and came out to our house to discuss our thoughts and questions in person.
Will in the shop, couldn’t be more knowledgable when it came to the cabinets, and Shawn (the owner) really took pride in being the companies #1 customer service guru. It was very refreshing to deal with the person in charge no matter what we asked. He also came through for us with extras that we didn’t ask for like air intake/vent covers and trim pieces that weren’t associated with our cabinets…but he said they finished the look and they did!
I’ll admit here I waited till our warranty period was up to write this honest review….because of COVID-19 and our 1 year period being over I wasn’t sure if he’d be as eager to respond to our calls BUT he was! He called us back that day, Justin (the shop paint/stain guy) came out the following week and polished up all the odds and ends that were missed after the install was completed.
This was my husband and I’s first project with Scott Arthur. We got 4 quotes when we initially started looking. Scott Author was $25k more $$ than the two cheapest quotes and $10k more than the closes quote we could get to him. The decision for us came down to the 3 guys who you saw working at this small business (I’m sure there are a few more) every day doing the quality of work you see in magazines! We just knew the product was of the highest quality and would be installed and exceed our expectations, rather than saving $10k (I’m sure we would have been dinged on upcharges/change orders/redo’s though) on a $55k project and 2nd guessing our decision. We received all 1″ thick drawer fronts, soft close everything, garbage cans were provided, numerous additional shelves were thrown in for our uppers, we never felt nickel and dimed, Shawn even coordinated our countertops and made sure we had our appliances lined up on time too.
We have recommended them for a number of other friends’ projects and will be working with them again when we move onto our next renovation!
