Traditional Kitchen Before Renovation

For one of the traditional brick homes built by Scott Arthur nearly 30 years ago, this renovation project revamped the aesthetics but maintained the original layout. Opting to leave the original tile, every other component of this kitchen was re-designed. Keeping the home’s traditional style, we designed a completely custom range hood featuring the same dentil detailing found throughout the home’s custom 3-piece crown moulding. For the custom cabinetry, each of the shaker-style doors were built 1″ thick and were finished with our classic “Scott Arthur White” lacquer using our trademarked technique. We installed under cabinet lighting and designed a custom panel to mask the warming drawer and

Edmonton Downtown High-Rise Project - Kitchen Before Renovation

This renovation took place in one of the original downtown Edmonton hire-rises, boasting some of the most stunning views of the Edmonton River Valley. However, being built in the early ’80s, this luxury condo desperately needed some TLC – especially in the kitchen. We replaced the dated cabinetry with modern, flat panel, white lacquered cabinets complimented by walnut floating shelves and stunning brushed gold hardware. For the walnut island, we extended the quartz countertops to create a comfortable dining space and finished the cabinetry with a clear lacquer to allow the beautiful grain of the walnut wood to be a focal point. Our absolute favourite part about this beautiful kitchen renovation, though – the custom-designed walnut ceiling detail!

One of the Sherwood Park Projects - Kitchen Before Renovation

Located on an acreage just outside Sherwood Park, this beautiful home renovation included a kitchen, mudroom, laundry room and two bathrooms. The re-design of this kitchen included custom shaker-style cabinetry finished in a cream-coloured lacquer, 6″ stacked crown mouldings and White Pearl quartz countertops. We used 5/8″ Baltic Birch for the cabinetry boxes and solid brown maple for the dovetail drawers. The maple cabinetry of the island was finished with Fire Side Stain and a 10-degree lacquer and complemented by two 6″ solid maple corbels and a myriad of cabinetry drawer rollouts and custom inserts.
