The service and quality we received from Scott Arthur Millwork & Cabinetry was outstanding. The design, communication, and attention to detail Shawn Tiltgen and his team provided was unparalleled and the finished millwork they created in our home is beautiful. It is my favourite element of our entire renovation by far.
In fact, we wish we had chosen to use Scott Arthur for our entire project, rather than for our millwork only. Not using Scott Arthur for our kitchen and mudroom cabinetry was the biggest mistake we made on our renovation project. Unfortunately, before working with Scott Arthur we had decided to go another route and use another Edmonton based “custom” cabinetry company and we quickly regretted that decision. We truly wish we could go back in time and hire Scott Arthur instead. Although the pricing of the companies was similiar, the end product wasn’t even comparable.
The other company we used that markets themselves as a premiere custom cabinetry choice was anything but. The other company constructed our cabinets in another province rather than locally, had extensive delays, shipping damage, multiple errors, inexperienced designers, sub-par materials and different installers in and out of our home for months. The final result we ended up with sadly reflects all of this, and we are still awaiting service 10 months later.
Seeing the craftsmanship and experience of Shawn and the Scott Arthur team alongside the work of this other company truly demonstrated to us how incredible Scott Arthur Millwork & Cabinetry is. Everything Shawn creates is of extreme quality and Pinterest worthy. We have since viewed many of his other completed projects in person and there is no one else like him in Alberta. We wish we could go back in time and use Scott Arthur from the beginning and for our entire project, instead of just a portion. They are the best. Next time!
