Wood Cabinet Doors

Wood doors come in a multitude of styles and species, all with their own unique grain patterns and colour variations. Wood doors with a profile are usually made up of 5 pieces – 2 stiles,  2 rails, and a center panel. The stiles and rails are typically made form solid wood material, where as the center panel can be wood veneer, solid material, metal mesh, or glass. Better resistance to warping or cracking, ‘Flat Panel’ or ‘Slab Doors’ are almost always fabricated using wood veneer, a thin sheet of real wood that is adhered onto an underlying substrate.
