Our paint grade doors are made from high-grade MDF, an engineered wood product with a unique composition that, when finished with our techniques, produces an exceptionally smooth, glass like, finish. Unlike natural wood products, properly finished MDF resists natural expansion and contractions from humidity, weather, and temperature changes, meaning it is less likely to become warped or bowed over time and, as a man-made product, the smooth and consistent surface of MDF makes it the ideal choice of material for painted cabinetry and millwork.
